I wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your lovely team of lads.
We recently moved in to the High Street, Clovelly. The Rayburn at the house had to be removed for repair and the wood burner needed some minor repairs too.
Your team, led by Gary, carried out the removal and re installation of our Rayburn with so much care and respect for our home. Although it has seen better days (as have I!) it was such a delight to see that you and the people in your workshop have done absolutely everything possible to make the Rayburn look it’s absolute best.
The wood burner has had equal care and attention. The repair carried out a fortnight ago and then a follow up today have been so appreciated. I was called today by Diana from the Clovelly Estate office to say Gary had turned up to repair our woodburner. We weren’t home but I was lucky enough to over hear the conversation between Diana and Gary whilst I was on the phone. Gary was really keen to make sure that our wood burner was up and running properly before your company shuts down over the festive period. Luckily, we don’t lock our front door and the fellas were willing to let themselves in and finish off the Rayburn and wood burner works, service totally above and beyond.
My husband Mark and I are very grateful and would like to offer our sincere thanks. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for the new woodburner at our place. All the lads doing the installation were superb from start to finish – it probably wasn’t the easiest of jobs but it was dealt with professionally and calmly by all. They were friendly, courteous and tidy at all times as well us understanding they were in someone’s home…..my 4 year old daughter Daisy is already missing them!

Following Carl's visit to assess the jobs we needed done, he quickly sent detailed reports of the work necessary and quotes. An appointment was soon made. All very efficient with good communication.
Top team from CBL came yesterday to do the first job…….. to fit our 1930s Queenie stove into our latest gypsy caravan. The customer friendly team left everything clean and tidy. Very smart and professional job done. Thank you lads for all the work done to meet modern day regulations and for sprucing her up with a coat of paint. They even left us with some firewood and detailed written instructions on using the stove.
Not cheap but cannot fault the staff and workmanship. We will be in touch again when we are ready for the next installation.

We live in a 120 year old bungalow which was built with stone, brick, and even Cobb ,and over the years this has been added to with more modern materials, including a complete second floor and the original chimneys taken out.

Carl came to our home and did a survey and informed us that an original hearth could be knocked through and a double stove install to be seen from both the kitchen dinner and the lounge.

His two installers ( Reece and Lewis ) were second to none when they carried out this construction, meticulously dealing with all that they found and with an eye for detail. We found it easy to trust them with Jack's holding up our house.
They also left our home tidy each day before they left.

They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to have in our home. We got the feeling that these two guys really liked the work they were doing which shows in what they have built.

We have no hesitation recommending CBL Stoves to anybody who wants a new stove fitted, or even advice on an old one.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Gary & Tom, who were excellent, very polite giving great service, and very respectful when working in the house and we’re really pleased with the end product and work.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say how impressed we were with your colleague who came to replace the cowl on one of our chimneys today. I think his name is Louis (but may have got that wrong). He phoned us to let us know what time he should be arriving and then again to say he was running a bit late which was very much appreciated. (And, in fact, he was only a bit later than he said he would be). It was just very impressive that he took the time to keep us informed and differentiated him and your company from other suppliers. When he got here he was very polite, covid aware and worked very efficiently.

Obviously, I did thank him whilst he was here but I would be grateful if you would thank him again. I also thought it important that you should get this feedback about one of your employees.

We are truly grateful to Carl for his knowledge and advice on LPG woodburner's, to which we chose a "Gazco" model. The installation lads, Gary and Joe worked really well, they were very polite and done a fantastic job, even down to the plastering work which was completed by Gary, a real asset to the company. The woodburner has made our front room feel really cosy and comfy and no more draughty old fireplace, hooray. Thankyou

CBL Stoves completed work on the installation of our woodburner on 18 October. The 3 guys who carried out the work, were very friendly, efficient and cleaned up well each evening. The Stove will become my new TV ( lady of the house speaking). It completes our lounge handsomely. Thank you.

I agree with the other reviews. The lads were efficient and knowledgeable and pleasant to have around. They did a great job installing the new liner and new stove, and cleared up beautifully when they'd finished the work. The stove is a smasher and works a treat.

We are so pleased with the service from start to finish, Carl’s advice to start with and the fitters were really helpful and efficient, very friendly, and despite some problems with our old chimney everything was carried out immaculately. Loving our Hamlet woodburner. We definitely recommend CBL Stoves, thanks to all.

Just a note to thank you for your advice. We are really pleased with the stove, which looks very handsome in its new home and has already made the room feel warmer than it ever has before!

Im extremely pleased with the new stove & thought your guys were polite, kind & did a really great job. I will also find it much easier now the logs have been cut much smaller.
